Job Summary
This is a versatile role and the HR Graduate Trainee for Zurich and Lugano contributes on the one hand for

  • the administrative Employee Lifecycle for the Sites Zurich and Lugano as well as the Career Lifecycle of the perimeter of the HR Specialist (trainees, temps, junior positions) where he/she manages all administrative topics under the responsibility of the HR Specialist and HR Business Partner. In addition, he/she guarantees the back-up of the HR Specialist in cooperation with the HR Team based in Geneva. He/she contributes to support and advise staff regarding all relevant HR topics. 

and on the other hand for

  • L&D Support, contribute in the organization of local trainings, assigning account codes for the payment of invoices, contribute in different transversal projects key for HR team and for the entity BNPP in Switzerland

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Main tasks within the HR Business partnering (80% of the workload):

  • Guarantees the administrative Employee Lifecycle from A-Z (without payroll) of the two sites as well as for CIB in Geneva (eg. entries, leavers, mobilities, reference letters, attestations, screening CV’s, organizing interviews, contract issuing, onboarding process, file management, family allowances, accidents, etc.) 
  • First point of contact for our staff and contributes to the Career Lifecycle of the HR Specialist for the defined perimeter (trainees, temps, junior profiles) including HR Marketing (organisation and participation on career fairs, etc.)
  • Daily support of the HR Business Partner and the HR Specialist in various topics and guarantees the back-up of the HR Specialist during leaves in cooperation with the HR Business Partner

Main tasks as L&D Support (20% of the workload) under supervision of the HR Specialist:  

  • Provide support to end users in Switzerland. 
  • Organize training sessions in link with the different providers (internal or external)  and create them in the My Development tool:
  • Participation on several training programs and projects linked to HR Digitalisation and people development
  • Guarantees administration tasks linked to L&D

Searched profile

Professional Career Track/Experience:

  • 6-12 months of experience ideally within a recruitment company or within a transversal HR function in an international environment
  • Experience working with remote teams

Professional Skills/Know-how:

  • Ideally knowledge of the Swiss HR practices, labor and social security laws
  • Understanding of HR processes
  • German, English & French proficiency – orally and in writing, Italian is a plus
  • Advanced IT skills in Word, Excel, Power Point and for an internal candidate: also in About Me, My Development, Basware, Symphony
